Polymer modified repair mortar and reinforced mortar are special cement-based mortars for surface defects and reinforcement construction of concrete structures. It is a new type of repair mortar with both polymer adhesive property and durability of inorganic material. It increases mortar compactness, thereby enhancing the mortar’s bonding strength, compressive strength and water resistance. So that the construction steps become simple, convenient, durability similar to that of concrete, shorten construction period to ensure economic efficiency. Polymer modified repair mortar and reinforced mortar are mainly suitable for repairing surface damage such as voids, breakage, exposed steel, spalling, and honeycombing on concrete structures. They are mainly used for the repair and reinforcement of concrete in roads, bridges, airport runways, expressway lanes, and concrete floors of industrial workshops.

This application requires mortar to have high compressive strength, excellent adhesion, waterproof performance, crack resistance, fire resistance, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, and anti-aging performance, among other properties.

Polymer Modified Repair Mortar

Polymer-modified repair mortar features fast setting, micro-expansion, low shrinkage, and high bonding strength, making it suitable for repairing damaged concrete.

By adding GUUDPOLY^® Redispersible Polymer Powder, it supply mortars with high compressive strength, good adhesion; good waterproof, crack resistance, high alkali resistance, UV resistance; easy to operate, can be applied under wet substrate. GUUDPOLY^® Superplasticizer greatly reduces the water consumption, and enhances mortar bonding strength. GUUDPOLY^® Defoamer eliminates air bubbles and inhibits bubble formation. It increases mortar compactness, thereby enhancing the mortar’s bonding strength, compressive strength and water resistance. 

Polymer Modified Reinforced Mortar

Reinforced mortar requires high strength, good workability, good adhesion to the original concrete, no shrinkage, and no cracking. It is mainly used for the reinforcement of concrete structures.
