Goodyear Chemtech Attend Middle East Coatings Show in Dubai on 16 July 2024
The Middle East Coatings Show was successfully held in Dubai, UAE on 16 July 2024. As one of the most influential professional exhibitions for coatings and construction raw materials across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), the event brought together upstream and downstream enterprises from the global coatings and construction chemicals industry. Goodyear Chemtech showcased its full portfolio of construction chemical additives, presenting high-performance solutions tailored to the high-temperature, arid climate of the Middle East.

Throughout the exhibition, the Goodyear Chemtech booth welcomed numerous buyers and formulation engineers from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Egypt and other countries. Our sales and technical team highlighted core products including GOODCEL® cellulose ether, redispersible polymer powder, gypsum retarder, rheology modifiers, defoamers and efflorescence inhibitors. We displayed aqueous solution samples on site and demonstrated key functions: thickening and water retention, improved workability, anti-efflorescence effect, and enhanced stability for gypsum materials.

Driven by large-scale infrastructure projects and residential and commercial real estate development across the Middle East, demand for architectural coatings, decorative mortars and gypsum building materials remains robust. The local climate is characterized by extreme heat, intense sunlight and low humidity, which imposes strict requirements for the water retention, thermal stability and crack resistance of construction additives. Many visitors consulted on formulation solutions and held in-depth discussions covering product specifications, delivery schedules, overseas inventory and customized technical support. Clients raised practical challenges encountered in water-based interior and exterior coatings, self-leveling mortars and gypsum putty, and our technical specialists provided targeted additive recommendations based on local construction conditions.

Backed by advanced laboratory quality control systems and continuous R&D investment, Goodyear Chemtech additives effectively improve coating leveling, reduce splashing, enhance the water retention and bonding strength of mortars, and adjust the setting time and surface quality of gypsum products, meeting the needs of diversified production lines in the Middle East. Participation in this exhibition significantly boosted brand recognition across the Gulf region, enabled comprehensive market research, and established solid communication channels with regional distributors and end manufacturers.
Moving forward, Goodyear Chemtech will further deepen its footprint in the MENA market. We will continue to optimize formulations adapted to hot and arid environments, strengthen overseas technical support, and supply stable, cost-effective construction chemical additives alongside integrated technical solutions for local coatings and building material manufacturers, advancing our global market strategy.
